Day 10: 8.3 Miles (145.2-151.8)

Today was a shorter day into PVC. I hitched into the town of Iddywild where I was able to see the trail Physio. She diagnosed me with a super tight calf muscle and put me in new shoes and prescribed a few days of rest. Felt good to finally address the issue that was slowly getting worse, and to hear good news that it was just a very tight muscle and no damage.

Day 11: 0 Miles

Today was a rest day. I got groceries, caught up on life back home and met up with the rest of the crew when they made it to town. We stayed with a trail angel in her basement, but spent an awesome 2 hours chatting with her - also named Chris. She was grateful for our company, and we were grateful for hers.

Day 12: 0 Miles

The whole group is taking a 0, even tho this is my second. We're finalizing our gear for the ascent up San Jacinto that's in store tomorrow. Eating food, relaxing and stretching. The calf is better with the rest I've given I and I'm looking forward to getting back to trail tomorrow.
