About the Photograph
This photo was taken in Jasper National Park in September, 2025. Taken on a Nikon Z7. Jasper experienced significant wildfires in 2024, with some of the largest burns in decades affecting vast areas of forest and park infrastructure, but this tree managed to stay standing.
