About the Photograph
The first taste of Mission Creek. Mission Creek is a 13ish-mile stretch that was washed out by Tropical Storm Hillary in 2023. Despite signs to skip the section, most people hike it anyway. Hiking in river beds, crossing rivers, attempting to follow washed out trail - this section was one of the mentally toughest. Taken on FujiFilm XM5.
