About the Photograph
Taken shortly after Mt Baden Powell, around mile 375, the evening haze opened up on the desolate forest below. A lot of the trail around Wrightwood was ravished by wildfires in 2024. The dead trees that remained stood a good metaphor for perservernce, and made for cool views. Taken on FujiFilm XM5.
